I am officially overwhelmed by the generosity & graciousness of my Mexican neighbors! Tonight, someone got my heart racing when they banged on my metal door. (Considering there was an attempted robbery at my house less than a week ago, I've been on "high alert") Here, it was my downstairs neighbor & her sister, with this plate of a homemade tlayuda & guacamole! They also invited me down to their party, but I'm in the middle of prepping food for tomorrow's Sunday meeting out in Mitla...so...I took pictures, took a bite, & wrapped the rest up for a meal tomorrow.
