I’m wondering WHY, when I was a teenager, I’d ice my knees often (swollen from sports injuries) & the swelling would go right down, within an hour…BUT, now, 20 years later, I’ve been icing this swollen knee for 3 days & it’s still swollen? Remind me to leave the house earlier on Tuesdays & Thursdays so I can walk more carefully on my 10-minute walk down that super steep hill, without falling!!
Many of the streets here are quite steep!
Thank you, Jesus, that my fall wasn’t worse! A few scrapes & a swollen knee are nothing compared to what COULD have happened!
Thank you, brothers & sisters in Christ, for your prayers of protection over me!
God+You+Me are Pieces of the Puzzle, working together, to share the Good News with others!
Matt. 28:19&20~"Go, make disciples of ALL the nations ~ teach them to obey all the commands I have given..."
Our response to His command can be only one of 3: to Go, to Send Others, or to Disobey. (John Piper)
In the spring of 2010, I spent 7 weeks in Oaxaca, Mexico, as a volunteer teacher at a school for children of missionaries. God opened the door for me to return for the 2010-2011 school year.
