God+You+Me are Pieces of the Puzzle, working together, to share the Good News with others!

Matt. 28:19&20~"Go, make disciples of ALL the nations ~ teach them to obey all the commands I have given..."

Our response to His command can be only one of 3: to Go, to Send Others, or to Disobey. (John Piper)

In the spring of 2010, I spent 7 weeks in Oaxaca, Mexico, as a volunteer teacher at a school for children of missionaries. God opened the door for me to return for the 2010-2011 school year.

If you click on posts from January - March of 2010, you'll see posts on the lessons I'm learning on patience & vision.

Posts from April 2010 - June of 2011, are about daily life in Oaxaca,
including pictures of the food, the people, & the most memorable moments of my experience.

Moving In Day: Saturday, Sept. 25th

(The following post was written as an email to my Prayer & Financial Support Team, close to midnight, Saturday, September 25th ~ IF you’d like more details, I’d be HAPPY to share = just ask!)

ALL of my suitcases & ALL of the things I purchased today at Sam's Club & Soriana are IN the apartment that I'll now call home. Of course, NOW, it all needs to be unpacked! Maybe I'll work on it for an hour or so ~ but, the sheets are already on the bed, so...I might as well try it out! :) I am SO VERY Grateful for... all the Christian friends who came to my assistance today! Some went shopping with me, some carried things up to the second floor for me, one is loaning me a ton of kitchen stuff, one is loaning me a set of dishes/plates, one is loaning me several other things, & one turned on the gas & lit the pilot light & showed me how & lifted that super heavy water bottle up on the garafun ~ I am SO overwhelmingly blessed!

At one point today, I had tears in my eyes because I was overwhelmed by the stress of it all...but, at 2 different times today, I had tears in my eyes because I was overwhelmed by how God's people were His hands & feet! What an emotional day!!

Here are a couple pictures of my new home in Oaxaca, Mexico.  (This is the way it looked Saturday night, when I went to bed after 1am...Sunday morning, I unpacked & organized everything.)
